Spring Taichi Retreat 2026

March 20–22, 2026 | Bradford Woods

Mindful Taichi Co hosted a three-day immersive retreat celebrating International Taichi Day and bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds to explore movement, mindfulness, and community in a peaceful natural setting.

Held at Bradford Woods, the retreat combined traditional Tai Chi practice with mindfulness, relaxation, and educational sessions designed to support healthy aging, resilience, and self-directed health.

Participants experienced:

  • Tai Chi fundamentals and form practice
  • Standing meditation and relaxation exercises
  • Walking meditation and mindful outdoor practice
  • Silk reeling and embodied movement principles
  • Group discussions on applying Tai Chi principles in everyday life
  • Community meals, reflection, and social connection

The retreat featured guest instructors and speakers who shared perspectives on traditional practice, public health, and lifelong learning. Participants practiced simplified forms, explored Tai Chi philosophy, and experienced movement as a pathway to balance, awareness, and community.

Across three days, participants built new friendships, deepened their practice, and experienced how movement and mindfulness can support well-being beyond the retreat setting.

Thank you to our participants, volunteers, guest speakers, and community partners who helped make this gathering possible. We look forward to continuing to build spaces for movement, reflection, and connection in future retreats.
