Reverence and Stillness Retreat

A Mindful Taichi Journey through Andalusia

Private Program

This retreat is a private family-and-friends journey, designed to explore Taichi and mindfulness through travel and shared reflection. Although it is not open to public registration, it reflects the heart of Mindful Taichi’s mission:  cultivating health, reverence, and stillness through embodied experience.

Taichi · Mindfulness · Culture · Journey

In the rhythm of Andalusia’s light and shadow, we move with awareness and rest in stillness, discovering the harmony of reverence and peace. This seven-day journey blends daily Taichi practice, cultural immersion, and mindful reflection, transforming travel into an experience of body–mind unity.

Highlights

  • Daily Morning Taichi — Breath, relaxation, and inner awareness
  • Cultural Immersion — The Alcázar of Seville and the Alhambra of Granada
  • Evening Mindfulness and Reflection — Gentle meditation and gratitude circle
  • Nature and Culture in Harmony — Experiencing the Taichi spirit through beauty and history

Philosophy

                                 心主乎敬,又主乎静。能敬而静,自葆虚灵。
                                              — 陈鑫《陈式太极拳图说》

“The heart is governed by reverence, and also by stillness.
When one is reverent and still, one naturally preserves inner clarity.”
                         — Chen Xin, Illustrated Theory of Chen-Style Taijiquan

Reverence is the beginning of awareness; stillness is the home of return.
This journey weaves together mindful movement, cultural exploration, and quiet reflection — inviting each participant to embody the essence of Taichi: the unity of body and mind, movement and stillness.
